In 2001, I attended the UCI World Cup Mountain Bike Race in Durango,
Colorado. The downtown time trial at that year's event went right through the
Steamworks Brewery. The latest beer to come from Steamworks is their
Steam Engine Lager.

the Steam Engine Lager

description is pretty
accurate. Steam Engine
has full hop flavor, but
manages to dodge the
bitter finish common to
many hoppy beers. The
